Known in English as oarweed, this is a species of seaweed occurring on the North Atlantic coast from Greenland in the north to Massachusetts and France in the south; it is also found in the Baltic Sea. In the summer months it is harvested for commercial purposes as it is a rich source of iodine, among other things. This seaweed also has a positive effect on the function of the digestive system and helps support the immune system. It deserves a place in our product thanks to its beneficial effects.
